The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), in coordination with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), will hold the Seminar on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law for the Armed Forces of the Western Hemisphere .
The seminar aims to promote and strengthen respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law in the Armed Forces, helping the operational units and Thinking Centers of the member countries to have access to the lessons learned in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law .
This activity is aimed at members of the OAS, Delegates of the IADB Council of Delegates, military personnel in general, at the tactical and operational level, officials of the Thinking Centers and government institutions.
