The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) invites you to participate in its next event: Seminar “The changing role of the Armed Forces and its possibilities to mitigate and confront new threats”.
This event will be held virtually through the Zoom platform and the IADB YouTube channel, with the participation of exhibitors who have extensive experience in the roles that the Armed Forces play in the face of new threat phenomena, and specialized international analysts. in the phenomenon of transnational organized crime and professional national security and public policy personnel of the OAS member states.
Aimed at officials from the different organizations that work for security and defense in the hemisphere, personnel of the Armed Forces at the tactical and operational level.
Its objective is to share experiences, lessons learned and protocols implemented by each country, to confront the phenomena of emerging threats that affect its territory, achieve the interaction of all organizations that participate in security and defense, with international organizations, academic institutions and centers. of thought, interested in deepening knowledge of these topics that are of great interest for hemispheric defense and security.
This online event is organized by the Hemispheric Cooperation Division of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) together with the Secretary of Multidimensional Security (SSM) of the Organization of American States (OAS).
