Air Lieutenant-Brigadeiro Luis Roberto do Carmo Lourenço, Head of Education and Culture of the Ministry of Defense and Vice-Admiral Paulo Renato Rohwer Santos, Commander of the Military Assistance of the Navy at the Higher Defense School, with 108 members of the body of instructors and students from the Brazilian Defense College, visited the Soldier's house on September 12, where they were received by the Head of the Projects and Studies Office of the IADB Secretariat, General of the Aviador Pilot Group José Ruben Montesinos.
During the visit, the students received the presentation "The Role of the IADB in the Defense of the Western Hemisphere", which allowed them to obtain a current hemispheric overview of defense and the importance of the work carried out by the Inter-American Defense Board and the challenges faced to achieve the vision of this organization. At the end of the presentation, Vice Admiral Paulo Renato Rohwer Santos expressed his gratitude to the IADB for the enlightening conference given.
