On October 11, the President of the Council of Delegates, Vice Admiral Alexandre Rabello de Faria and the Director General of the IADB Secretariat, Brigadier General Porfirio Fuentes Vélez received the Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay, Mr. José Antonio dos Santos, to the Director of the Institute of Higher Strategic Studies of the Republic of Paraguay, Brigadier General Nery Torres Laconich and to the Head of the Paraguayan Delegation to the IADB, Brigadier General Néstor Salazar Echauri, with a delegation made up of 40 members of the Institute of Higher Strategic Studies Strategic Studies (IAEE) and the Doctoral Program in Defense, Development and National Strategic Security (PDDDSEN) of the Republic of Paraguay.
The General Director of the IADB Secretariat, General Fuentes Vélez presented the organization and activities carried out by the Board; Subsequently, Lieutenant Colonel Agustín Domínguez of the Department of Defense of the United States of America presented another presentation related to that Department. This visit concludes with the taking of the official photo in the “Hall of Flags” of the “Casa del Soldado”.
