On April 27, Brigadier General Porfirio Fuente Vélez, General Director of the IADB Secretariat, received a visit from students of the Master's Degree in National Security and Higher Command and the Master's Degree in Geopolitics from the Center for Higher Naval Studies of the Secretariat. of the Navy – Mexican Navy, as well as representatives of the Mexican Military Naval Attaché Office in the United States, completing their study trip.
In this framework, General Fuentes presented the conference “Organization, Functions and Perspectives of the Inter-American Defense Board” to the staff of students, in which the 80 years of Hemispheric Cooperation and Solidarity that this institution has accomplished were evoked.
