On August 12, the IADB received a visit from the General Director of the Chilean Carabineros, Marcelo Araya Zapata, receiving a formal greeting from the Leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board. After thanking him for such an important visit, Araya proceeded to inform the General Director about the defense and security tasks carried out by the IADB, highlighting the invaluable contribution of the members of the Armed Forces of the member countries to hemispheric defense and security.
