On Thursday, June 4, the Director General of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) made a working visit to the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), where he held a meeting with Ambassador Laura Gil, Deputy Secretary General of the OAS.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of SACS and members of the IADB, and topics were addressed aimed at continuing to strengthen cooperation, sharing the progress, achievements and main initiatives that the IADB has been developing; reaffirming its role as a technical, consultative and educational advisory body on matters related to defense and security.
The Inter-American Defense Board appreciates the continued support of the Organization of American States (OAS) and reaffirms its commitment to continue working in favor of Defense, Security and Hemispheric Cooperation.
