As part of the trip for the awarding of the Medal of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) to the International Demining Center of the Army of the Kingdom of Spain, the President of the Council of Delegates of the IADB, Major General Luciano José Penna, learned about the structure and organization of the Academy of Engineers, which has in its organization, the International Demining Center.
This Center of Excellence carries out different courses in this specific area (demining) of Military Engineering.
The President of the Council of Delegates was also able to establish contact with the components of the EOD Level 3 Course, which has military students from the member countries of the OAS and the IADB.
