Last Thursday, January 22, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) received a visit from Colonel Heleno Souza (USAF), Deputy Director of the United States Air Force International Health Specialists Program (USAF International Health Specialist Program – IHS).
The visit aimed to identify opportunities for cooperation and collaboration between both institutions, focused on strengthening the military and technical cooperation that the IADB develops in support of its Member States.
During the meeting, the IADB was represented by Major General Reinaldo Salgado, Director General of the IADB Secretariat; Brigadier General Eduardo Villegas, Vice President of the Council of Delegates; Colonel Daniel Fitch, Deputy Director of the Advisory Secretariat; and Colonel Mario Rivas, IADB Liaison Officer to the Organization of American States (OAS).
