The leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) held an institutional visit with the Ambassador of Colombia to the Organization of American States, Mr. Luis Ernesto Vargas Silva, reaffirming the commitment to multilateralism and joint work for the benefit of the region.
During the meeting, key initiatives such as Humanitarian Demining, Disaster Cooperation, Cybersecurity and Maritime Security were highlighted, as well as strategic projects such as the Disaster Cooperation Mechanism (MECODE) and the MECODEX 2026 exercise, which will take place in Brazil next May.
This approach reaffirms the importance of dialogue, cooperation, and joint action to address common challenges and strengthen hemispheric security.
