On April 15, the Inter-American Defense Board held, at the Casa del Soldado, a new edition of its traditional “Cultural Meeting of the Americas.”
Promoted annually, the main objective of the event is to contribute, through the cultural expression of the countries of the American continent - recognized and appreciated throughout the world for its unique characteristics -, to strengthen the historical ties of friendship and respect that unite the towns of the region.
In the words of Brigadier General Porfirio Fuentes Vélez (Mexico), General Director of the IADB Secretariat, the Cultural Meeting of the Americas represents a great opportunity to bring together, in an atmosphere of harmony and camaraderie, representatives of the most diverse nations. of the continent, gathered around the Organization of American States (OAS).
Stands from the following countries participated in the event: Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
