During the ordinary meeting held on September 20, 2022, the following events materialized:
A. The Ministry of Defense of Brazil, which served as the Pro-tempore Secretariat of the XV Cycle of the Conference of Defense Ministers of America (CMDA), delivered the Historical Report of the aforementioned Conference.
B. As a result of the XV Conference of Ministers of Defense of the Americas (CMDA) in the city of Brasilia, Brazil, which took place from July 25 to 29, 2022, the US Undersecretary of Defense for Hemisphere Affairs Occidental, Mr. Daniel P. Erikson, presented to the IADB delegates the topic “Strengthening integrated deterrence: air, sea, space and cyberspace”, which will also be presented to the OAS, having expressed the need to partner to reassess and refine security cooperation objectives and strengthen collective capacity to address the hemisphere's challenges.
C. The presentation of the European Delegation as an Observer Delegation in the IADB was made, with Mr. Michael Curtis, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of the European Union in the United States of America, having intervened on the occasion.
