On August 29, the IADB Council of Delegates met at the Inter-American Defense College. The agenda was completed, and IADB Director Major General Richard J. Heitkamp invited the Delegates to a tour of the facilities.

On August 12, the IADB received a visit from the Director General of the Chilean Carabineros (Carabineros de Chile), Marcelo Araya Zapata.
