At the Ordinary Meeting number 1408 of the Council of Delegates of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), held on February 21 of this year, the visit of the Permanent Representative of Colombia to the OAS, Mr. Ambassador Alejandro Ordoñez Maldonado, who exchanged ideas and opinions with the Delegates of the IADB Member States on matters related to the security and defense of the continent.
These types of visits, such as the one carried out by His Excellency Ambassador Ordoñez, provide the Board with a valuable opportunity to continue strengthening ties of cooperation with the Organization of American States (OAS) and its Member States, to advance towards achieving the peace and security of the Hemisphere in accordance with the objectives of the OAS Charter.
