The Confidence and Security Building Measures (CBM) They consist of contributing to strengthening security, cooperation and trust in the region, with the Organization of American States (OAS) being in charge of promoting the application of the 47 current measures.
In this sense, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) contributes with the training and training of users, which is why it has seen fit to hold this workshop, with the support of the OAS Department of Public Security, on July 17th, in virtual format with the KUDO platform. The link for registrations will be sent the last week of May to the emails of the users who were confirmed by each country.
Workshop objective: Train and train the different levels of users of the new technological tool for control and monitoring of Confidence and Security Building Measures (CFSM) in the Inter-American System.
Addressed to: Users designated by each country at different levels:
• Specialist: In charge of loading the data, recording the various activities.
• Supervisor: Responsible for publishing and supervising activities, in addition to having specialist permits.
• Sector Administrator: Responsible for registering/creating new users to have the same supervisor permissions.
The result of the training in this workshop will allow the countries of the Inter-American System to comply, in an adequate and timely manner, with the annual deadline for CSBM reporting that expires on August 7.
