The IADB celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Military College of Mexico

On October 11, the Inter-American Defense Board had the pleasure of celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Heroic Military College in an exciting event held at the “Casa del Soldado.” This special event featured the distinguished presence of internationally renowned military leaders, joining forces to celebrate a legacy of honor and bravery.

The Heroic Military College, a fundamental part of the history of Mexico, has been the birthplace of brave men and women who have forged the path towards the defense of their country. Cadets who later become officers of the Mexican Army and Air Force study there, carrying with them the values and dedication that this institution has instilled for two centuries.

During this commemoration, prominent military leaders emphasized the importance of this historic institution and the fundamental role it plays in the training of future officers. This event not only pays tribute to our military history, but also reinforces the commitment of the Inter-American Defense Board and the countries of the region in maintaining peace, cooperation and friendship between nations.

The Heroic Military College is a symbol of resilience and bravery, and its anniversary reminds us of the importance of maintaining collaboration and unity among the nations of the hemisphere. We celebrate their contribution to history and the formation of military leaders committed to peace, cooperation and friendship in the region. Long live the Heroic Military College and inter-American collaboration!
