On October 2, the Inter-American Defense Board will hold a virtual workshop “Prevention of trafficking in firearms, ammunition and explosives”, an event that will be broadcast on the Zoom platform and on the JID's YouTube channel.
The objective of the workshop is to provide a space for the dissemination and transmission of knowledge, to Strengthening the capacities for hemispheric cooperation in preventing and combating the proliferation, manufacturing and transnational illicit trafficking of firearms and ammunition under a multidimensional security approach.
This is a valuable opportunity for members of the Armed Forces, Police Forces, National Guard and other relevant security agencies, who work directly on the subject, as well as other people interested in the topic.
