The Leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) made a working visit to the Permanent Representation of Brazil to the Organization of American States (OAS), where they held a meeting with Ambassador Benoni Belli, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the OAS.
During the meeting, topics aimed at further strengthening hemispheric cooperation were addressed, and the progress, achievements, and main initiatives that the IADB has been developing were shared, reaffirming its role as a technical, consultative, and educational body on matters related to defense and security.
During the visit, a formal presentation was also made of Major General Joseph Lestorti of the United States Army, Director of the Inter-American Defense College, who has recently joined the institutional leadership.
