The seminar was held on September 14 and 15 and aimed to create a space to exchange experiences and knowledge in matters of security and defense, analyzing the hemispheric situation on the balance of power between nations from a geopolitical and technological point of view. More than 2,300 military personnel and civilians from Member States and observer countries participated.
As a consequence of the seminar, a workshop was held with delegates from Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela, integrated into 2 working groups, to obtain conclusions, recommendations and lessons learned for use. practical, in order to “transform words into action” and generate defense knowledge in the inter-American system.
