On August 1, the Commander in Chief of the Chilean Army, General Ricardo Martínez Menanteau, visited the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB).
On that occasion, General Martínez, accompanied by the Head of the Chilean Delegation to the United States, Brigadier General Carlos Castillo Villarroel, met with the President and Vice President of the Council of Delegates of the IADB, respectively, General of Division Luciano José Penna and Brigadier General Carlos Humberto Castañeda Nassi, and expressed his great gratitude to all those who work at the IADB, who with their efforts contribute to the development of the American Countries and their Armed Forces.
The visit was part of the Chilean Army's planned visit program for Military Organizations in the Washington, DC area.
